Resource Guide for Pediatric Overweight Treatment Services in Massachusetts

The resource guide is a directory of children and adolescent overweight treatment programs across the state. The guide was developed in response to health care providers’ identified need for programs to refer overweight children and their families. Listed programs had to meet the following criteria for inclusion: The program had to have a recognized a medical, nutritional and behavioral approach to working with children and their families; be established; and have a recognized internal review system (ex: JCAHO, quality management). Listing does not imply endorsement by the Massachusetts Overweight and Control Prevention Initiative (MOCPI). We have attempted to make the guide as complete as possible, but recognize that there are may be programs that we may not have included.

If you have any questions about the directory or would like more information about the Partnership for Healthy Weight Coalition, please contact Cynthia Taft Bayerl at
(617) 624-5439 or by email Cynthia.Bayerl@State.MA.US.
